WIKIPEDIA IN INTELLIGENCE STUDIES: EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND POPULARIZATION OF KNOWLEDGE
The aim of the article is to examine pages from the area of intelligence studies on Polish Wikipedia. We consider intelligence studies to be interdisciplinary, as a sub-discipline of security studies, but also an area of exploration for political, historical, and legal sciences. This domain of knowledge is undergoing rapid advancement, exhibiting a substantial number of scientific and popular science studies. In this context, we investigate to what extent scientific knowledge about intelligence services is reflected in the largest online encyclopedia. This article is based on previous project work, which involved preparing pages for intelligence services on Wikipedia. It is expected that this long-term project will result in a comprehensive and encyclopedic study of the most important issues in the field of intelligence studies.
