Abstract

PROCEEDINGS OF THE KRAKÓW KOŚCIUSZKO MOUND COMMITTEE FROM 26 MARCH 2019 TILL 16 APRIL 2020

The Committee’s constant task during the period under discussion was to take care of the Kościuszko Mound, to make this Monument accessible and to nurture and promote the Kościuszko tradition, also among children. For the money obtained from the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region and from its own funds, the Committee carried out a project aimed at creating the Kościuszko Museum. It includes modification of the interiors for exhibition purposes, with their adaptation for people with physical disabilities, creation of a permanent exhibition and its assembly, as well as roofing the courtyard, creation of an educational path with the Kościuszko garden on the Mound’s drum, modernisation of the playground for the youngest, and development and construction of a model of the Mound with the fort in the state from before its partial demolition.
