Publication Schedule
The journal is an annual publication which is published by the end of March of the following year.
The editorial team attaches great importance to ensuring the highest possible editorial standards for the texts it publishes. Furthermore, it aims to prevent dishonest practices relating to authorship, in particular:
- ghostwriting, which occurs when a person who has made a significant contribution to the creation of a text is not disclosed in the article or their role in its creation is not specified;
- guest and honorary authorship, which occurs when a person whose contribution to the publication was minimal or non-existent is listed as an author or co-author of the publication.
The editorial team reserves the right to return a manuscript to the author if it has not been prepared in accordance with the guidelines set out below, requesting that it be supplemented and revised. The editorial team also reserves the right to make formal amendments to manuscripts in accordance with editorial guidelines, with a view to standardising the formatting of published texts.
1. Please send electronic versions of your manuscripts to: kkordas@muzeum-ak.pl.
2. The decision to accept a manuscript for publication is taken by the editorial team after reviewing the content and any supplementary material, on the basis of the reviewers’ opinions, in accordance with the established peer-review process.
3. The length of the text, including footnotes and the bibliography, should not exceed 22 standard pages (1 standard page, i.e. 3,900 characters including spaces) + illustrations (up to 16). In justified cases, the number of illustrations may be increased following consultation with the editorial team.
