  Is the executive director of Taube Foundation for Jewish Life and Culture in the United States. She was Media Communications director of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Programme Director of International Museum of Women in San Francisco. She is one of the co-founders of Network of East-West Women (NEWW). She publishes in “Journal of Women’s History”, “Ms. Magazine”, “San Francisco Chronicle”, “The Forward”, “Women’s Review of Books” and “Gazeta Wyborcza”. Her most recent publication is the book Podziemie Kobiet (The Women’s Underground, 2003).
