RECEPTION OF OLGA TOKARCZUK’S WORK IN PORTUGAL AND BRAZIL AND THE PROBLEM OF CULTURAL UNTRANSLATABILITY BASED ON THE NOVEL PROWADŹ SWÓJ PŁUG PRZEZ KOŚCI UMARŁYCH
The article consists of the analysis of the reception of Olga Tokarczuk’s prose in Portugal and Brazil, as well as the comparative analysis of the novel Prowadź swój pług przez kości umarłych in Portuguese translations in the European and Brazilian standards, carried out by Teresa Fernandes Świątkiewicz and Olga Bagińska-Shinzato.
