Review Process & Reviewers
Peer Review Process and Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Articles sent to the Editorial Board of “Sowiniec” are reviewed in the double blind review peer-reviewed model. Each article is reviewed by two independent reviewers from outside the unit at which the article author is affiliated. The author and reviewers do not know their identity. In other cases, the reviewer signs a declaration of absence of a conflict of interest, understood as a direct relationship between the reviewer and the author (in particular relationship to the second degree, marriage), professional subordination or direct scientific cooperation in the last two years preceding the year of the review. The review is carried out in writing and contains a clear request from the reviewer regarding the conditions for the admission of an article for publication or its rejection.
In "Sowiniec" only those articles will be published, which will receive positive reviews or have been adjusted to the recommendations of the reviewers.
The list of reviewers cooperating with the editorial staff is published in each issue of the journal and its website (names of reviewers of individual publications or issue numbers of the journal are not disclosed).
The editorial staff applies a procedure securing the originality of scientific articles (ghostwriting and guest authorship).
