Vancouver style applies in the journal; the order of individual bibliographic entries should follow the order of citation in the text. Appropriate references in square brackets (e.g. [1]), the citation of a specific page, on the other hand, should appear in a footnote after the abbreviation “p.” (e.g., [1, p. 5]):
