Abstract

Integrationskurse as a Tool for the Integration Policy of the Federal Republic of Germany

After years of denying that Germany, as a country that is a destination of migration, needs a consistent migration policy, at the beginning of the 21st century the situation in that matter started to change. Since then, the rules for granting citizenship have been modified and the foundations of immigration policy and policies for integrating immigrants into the host society have been developed. The subject of the article are integration courses – a basic tool of this policy.

  • Dorota Gierszewski, Jagiellonian University

    Dr hab. nauk humanistycznych, kierownik w Zakładzie Pedagogiki Społecznej i Andragogiki Instytutu Pedagogiki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Odbyła staże naukowe na uniwersytetach w Getyndze (Georg‑August Universität, 1998), Berlinie (Humboldt Universität, 2002), Jenie (Friedrich‑Schiller‑Universität, 2010), Augsburgu (2014). W pracy dydaktycznej i naukowo‑badawczej zajmuje się problematyką formalnej i nieformalnej edukacji obywatelskiej, andragogiki i gerontologii oraz funkcjonowaniem organizacji społeczeństwa obywatelskiego.

  • Aleksandra Matykiewicz, Jagiellonian University

    Dr nauk społecznych, adiunkt w Instytucie Europeistyki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego, stypendystka DAAD, studiowała na uniwersytecie w Hamburgu, odbyła staż badawczy w Hans Bredow Institut für Medienforschung. Jako politolog zajmuje się w swojej pracy badawczej problematyką migracji, jako medioznawca historią mediów oraz systemami medialnymi.
