VALUES AND USES OF THE INTERJECTION GUAU IN THE SPANISH LANGUAGE
The article analyzes the different uses of the interjection guau, which is a loanword from the English language. The analysis is based mainly on the statements collected in the Corpus of Spanish of the XXI Century (CORPES). The discursive functions and pragmatic values of guau in Spanish are examined.
