“REGIMEN SANITATIS” FOR OLDER PEOPLE IN MEDICINE OF THE 13-16TH CENTURY
Elderly people, in terms of the 13th-16th century medicine, suffer from lowering the body temperature and humidity, which also affects physiological disorders. The living environment was a very important issue: air, winds, seasons of the year, residential building and clothing. A healthy life for an elderly person means moving from physical activity to relaxation, and from relaxation to physical activity. In order to maintain good health, particular attention was paid to diet and sleep.
