PROFESSOR HENRYK GAERTNER (1922-2020)
A biographical text presenting the figure, professional career, contribution to Polish science and passions and interests of Henryk Gaertner. He was an internist, professor at the Medical Academy in Krakow and Collegium Medicum in Krakow, one of the founders of the Clinic of Internal Medicine and Rural Medicine, distinguished in promoting the ideas of Albert Schweitzer in Poland, ethicist and philosopher as well as historian of medicine and author of numerous studies on the history of the Hospital of Bonifraters in Krakow.
