Professional Competences of an Audiovisual Translator – between Theory and Practice
The article aims to outline the subject of specialized translation, including audiovisual translation (AV). AV translators have to face a variety of topics, often basing their work on non-linguistic knowledge, combining linguistic, intercultural and technological competences. The article aims at practical verification of the EMT competence framework.
